Karlstad, Sweden

Karlstad is a Swedish city in the province of Värmland with 90 000 inhabitants. The city is located next to Sweden’s biggest lake, Vänern. The symbol of Karlstad is a happy sun and the city goes by the slogan “The Sun in Karlstad” after the Swedish waitress and inn keeper Eva Lisa Holtz, known for her always “sunny” mood. Karlstad is most famous for its beautiful nature and cultural history with authors and artists like Selma Lagerlöf, Gustaf Fröding and Christian Eriksson being active in the area. Many people come to Karlstad to study which makes it a city of cultural meetings with differents trends and attitudes moulding the city.

Rome, Italy

Dear tourist, welcome to the Eternal City!

There are so many things to see and do in Rome that it is difficult to make a list of the most interesting ones and we hope you’ll have enough time to do and see everything!

The city itself is an attraction and just walking through its historical city centre is both a cultural experience and an amazing attraction.

Bordeaux, France

Bordeaux is located in the south west of France, it’s one of the most beautiful cities of France. There are approximately 1 million habitants and 100 000 students.

In 2007, Bordeaux was listed a UNESCO World Heritage site because of the tipical buildings’ architecture.

The average temperature in summer in Bordeaux is 28/30°C and in winter is approximately 15°C.

The best time to visit Bordeaux is beetween May and September because the tempatures are better.

Valencia, Spain

Valencia is a city in the east of Spain, located on the Mediterranean coast and is the third largest city of Spain. In the city there are 1.5 million inhabitants, but in summer, the population grows to reach 5 times its size.

 

The average temperature of Valencia is 20  – 25 ° C which invites you to go to the beach to sunbathe and swim with family or friends.
